Founded by Simon Shulman in 1927 on Huntington Avenue in Boston, Huntington Tire & Battery began by supplying car tires and batteries to the original cab companies in the area. Simon's son, Bill Shulman, later infused his expertise gained from the Navy, expanding the business to include repairs of radios, TVs, and other electronics. Notably, Huntington also provided rental TVs to patients in local hospitals. On December 30th, 1960, the company was formally incorporated as Huntington Radio & TV, Inc.
As the company evolved, it relocated to Newton, Massachusetts. Today, as a Veteran-owned business, the company looks forward to celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2027. Neil, Anthony, and their team, with decades of combined experience in the Home Electronics and Audio Video Industry, continue to uphold the Huntington legacy. They provide luxury home entertainment and advanced technology solutions to clients throughout New England.
